Why do you support the DAV? Because I am disabled and DAV does great things for all veterans.

Has the DAV helped you in the past? Yes, the DAV helped me obtain a higher percentage of disability from the VA.

What are your hobbies? Professional volunteer with several organizations that help needy families and children.

What do you like about your gift annuity? It's a good vehicle for my money and a great cause.

Why do you support the DAV? I am a 100% disabled veteran because of Agent Orange, and I want to support my fellow vets, past and present.

Has the DAV helped you in the past? Yes, the DAV first helped my dad, a World War II vet, receive his disability rating; then they helped me.

What are your hobbies? Gardening, photography, fishing.

What do you like about your gift annuity? It enables me and Lynn to provide a monthly income for our retirement, and more importantly, to leave a gift, with our thanks, to other disabled veterans.

Why do you support the DAV? Dad was a strong DAV supporter, then after I was treated for a service-related illness, I noticed how much support veterans were getting from the DAV.

Has the DAV helped someone you or someone you know? Last year, the DAV helped a friend receive a 30% disability rating, thanks to a Mobile Service Office outside of our local VA hospital.

What are your hobbies? Family and world travel.

What do you like about your gift annuity? The payments for the rest of our lives and the support for DAV seems like an unbeatable combination.
